A member of the globally renowned FURUNO Electric Company, FURUNO Cyprus was established in Cyprus in November 2012.

Cyprus is home to some of the world leading names in the shipping industry, it manages the 3rd largest merchant fleet in the EU, and is the largest third party Ship Management Centre within the EU (top 3 globally).

The main objective of FURUNO Cyprus is to provide high-quality service to the shipping industry in Cyprus through the supply of FURUNO Navigation and Communication Products, Spare Parts, Technical Advice, and Professional Services worldwide.

FURUNO Cyprus strives to achieve its target through its dynamic team of industry professionals who are distinguished not only for their expertise and knowledge on FURUNO Products but also for the skilled manner in which they are able to provide FURUNO Certified Services. The team in Cyprus has significantly grown in number of employees, all of whom complement each other through the diversity of their skills. The effectiveness and efficiency of the provided service has succeeded in making FURUNO Cyprus a reference point for local customers which gradually resulted in strategic partnerships.

Our office in Cyprus is also party to a number of collaborations with some of the top shipping companies in Cyprus, and together are involved in a number of initiatives and large projects relating to Remote Monitoring and Maintenance capabilities, E-Navigation Test-Bed and Data Extraction for Performance Evaluation.

ABOUT CORPORATE LOGO



The name “FURUNO” is not only a clear depiction of our company name, but it has been familiar to people inside and outside the company for a long time. In addition, the FURUNO Logo displayed on a Radar antenna has made an impression of our company on a large number of people.

A fairly deep blue was selected as the corporate color. It represents the color of the Earth and expresses an image of the business field across the entire world

ABOUT CORPORATE MARK



Our corporate mark was designed to represent the following three motifs:

  • The first letter of the company name “F(f)”.
  • The directional pattern of the ultrasonic transducer of our original fish finder.
  • Two fish with their tailfins intertwined.

What is more, the intertwined tailfins are designed to form a “Z”, which is the common international symbol for electricity.

Since its inception in 1948, when the world’s first fish finder was commercialized, FURUNO has been responding to the needs of the maritime industry through developing various types of navigation and communications equipment.
